Global Pioneers: Ten Days that Changed my Life
I can say with sincerity that choosing to participate in Global Pioneers was one of the most important decisions of my life. First of all, being my first experience with global missions, visiting Mozambique forever amplified my attitude of thankfulness for all God has given me. It also stirred within my heart a desire to actively extend the gospel of Jesus to those who are hurting and have had no real exposure to the promises of scripture.Global Pioneers brought new relevance to my prior understanding of Christ-centered relationships. It is very rare in the modern world that we ever get to truly experience the kind of Christian community living that God has designed us for. Interconnectedness with other believers that is so honest, encouraging, joyful, and passionate that you come away determined never to settle for less than abundant life! Thankfully, because of Global Pioneers, I can say that I have had that privilege.
In the midst of clashing culture, ethnicity, education, language, social class, life experience, specific theology, etc. the all-encompassing God of every people and place astonished the Global Pioneers group with the marvel of His presence and truth. In response, we were given the opportunity to go out amongst the ?least of these? in the world?s eyes and relay His message of hope. What higher honor could you long for in life?! I could spend all day searching for the right vocabulary and it would still not do the Global Pioneers experience complete justice. You have to be a part of it yourself, and God will meet you there in a revolutionary way that is impossible to forget, explain, or regret.
